This is the very essence captured within our Dark Leather mural. It is not new, nor is it distressed; rather, it is a surface that has been honestly used, its character deepened by the passage of time. The dominant texture is that of full-grain leather, a rich tapestry of subtle undulations and fine creases, each telling a tale of gentle wear. Colours shift with an organic grace: a foundational Bridle Black, profound and ancient, yields to areas of Saddle Wear where light has kissed the surface, revealing warmer Aniline undertones and Burnish Gold highlights that catch the eye like polished brass.
This is a masculine warmth, comforting yet without aggression, perfectly suited to a living room seeking gravitas, a bedroom desiring a cocoon of sophistication, or a study where contemplation is encouraged. Each mural is printed to the exact measurements you submit — width, height, and drop — then supplied as sequentially numbered panels, ready to hang in order. Paste system: standard overlap paste, seams pattern-matched. No trimming required.
We work with a trusted network of specialist paperhangers. At the order stage we can introduce a recommended installer in your area — or supply full installation notes for your own hanger.

What is the primary inspiration for this design?
The design is inspired by a vintage leather desk blotter found in a traditional gentleman's club, reflecting decades of use and character.
How does the colour palette contribute to the design's mood?
The palette, ranging from deep bridle black to warm aniline and burnished gold, evokes a sense of worn authority and comforting, masculine warmth, reminiscent of cherished, aged leather.
Is the texture of the design smooth or does it have a raised feel?
The design is printed on smooth, matt non-woven paper. The visual texture of the leather grain and creases is highly detailed and realistic, but the physical surface of the wallpaper itself remains flat.
