What the mural describes.
Imagine the cool, smooth surface of near-black terrazzo stretching before you, a deep, carbon-tinted matrix embedded with an exquisite scattering of natural stone and glass. Bright Carrara marble chips gleam with pristine clarity, while warm travertine offers a subtle, creamy counterpoint, each with its characteristic pin-holes. Glimpses of gold glass smalti catch the light, adding a decadent sparkle, alongside rare porphyry red and serpentine green fragments that introduce rich, unexpected accents. This is a surface that has witnessed decades of elegant footfall, ground and polished to a mirror sheen, its intentionally random distribution of chips - dense here, sparse there, with the occasional grander piece - inviting your eye to wander and discover.

Each mural is printed to the exact measurements you submit — width, height, and drop — then supplied as sequentially numbered panels, ready to hang in order. Paste system: standard overlap paste, seams pattern-matched. No trimming required.
We work with a trusted network of specialist paperhangers. At the order stage we can introduce a recommended installer in your area — or supply full installation notes for your own hanger.

What is terrazzo?
Terrazzo is a composite material, poured in situ or precast, used for floors, walls, and other surfaces. It consists of chips of marble, quartz, granite, glass, or other suitable materials, poured with a binder and then ground and polished to a smooth surface.
How is this mural installed?
Our murals are printed on high-quality non-woven paper, designed for 'paste-the-wall' application. This method is generally simpler and cleaner than traditional 'paste-the-paper' wallpapering. We provide detailed instructions with every order.
