What is the origin of the Gond Tree of Life design?
The Gond Tree of Life is central to the cosmology of the Gond people, one of India's largest tribal communities from Madhya Pradesh. It represents a cosmic tree so vast and densely inhabited that it embodies the entire world, with every branch hosting different creatures and every surface adorned with their characteristic dot-and-line patterns.
