The Composition

What the mural describes.

Step into the esteemed Princess of Wales Conservatory at Kew Gardens, reimagined as a series of exquisite botanical plates. Here, individual orchid specimens — a flamboyant Cattleya with its ruffled magenta lip, a waxy jade-green Paphiopedilum slipper, the delicate cascade of Dendrobium blooms, a pristine Phalaenopsis moth orchid in pure white, and a vibrant Vanda in electric blue-violet — are presented with taxonomic precision. Each plant is a portrait, isolated against a warm, specimen-cream ground, its unique architecture celebrated without contextual distractions. The arrangement, though artful, suggests a scholarly grouping, inviting close inspection of every elegant curve, every intricate stripe, every delicate root velamen.

This mural is a distinguished choice for a study or library, lending an air of scholarly elegance and exotic intrigue. It speaks to a reverence for complexity, transforming your space into a sanctuary of botanical wonder. Crafted to your wall's precise dimensions, our mural wallpaper is supplied as numbered drop panels, printed on a luxurious matt non-woven paste-the-wall paper, ensuring a seamless and sophisticated finish.

We work with a trusted network of specialist paperhangers. At the order stage we can introduce a recommended installer in your area — or supply full installation notes for your own hanger.
