The Composition

What the mural describes.

Imagine the soft, warm glow of late afternoon sun caressing ancient stone, revealing the exquisite detail of a temple wall from Khajuraho. Before you, a series of ornate architectural niches unfurl, each cradling a graceful surasundari or apsara — a heavenly dancer or beautiful woman — frozen in a gesture of eternal elegance. Intricately carved pilasters and geometric bands separate these divine beings, while above and below, horizontal friezes teem with smaller figures, animals, and decorative scrolls, all brought to life by the interplay of deep shadow and golden highlight. It is a world perfected, where every line speaks of artistry and every surface invites contemplation.

This mural is a celebration of sculptural beauty, transforming your living room, study, or spa reception into a sanctuary of serene artistry. It promises a journey into an idealised realm, suffused with the warmth of sandstone and the richness of history. Each panel is meticulously numbered and supplied on matt, non-woven paste-the-wall paper, ensuring a seamless and enduring installation tailored precisely to your space.

We work with a trusted network of specialist paperhangers. At the order stage we can introduce a recommended installer in your area — or supply full installation notes for your own hanger.
