What the mural describes.
A monumental pierced marble screen, a jali, rises before you, filling the entire wall. The stone itself is a warm, aged white, Makrana marble, so finely carved it appears as woven lace rather than solid rock. Golden afternoon light streams through its geometric floral openings, illuminating the deep tunnels of the carving, catching the inner surfaces with a honeyed glow. Six-petaled lotus flowers blossom at each intersection of the hexagonal lattice, and smaller rosettes fill the spaces between, through which glimpses of a verdant garden can be faintly discerned. The jali casts its intricate shadow pattern onto the floor behind, a testament to the stone's transformation into ethereal art.

Each mural is printed to the exact measurements you submit — width, height, and drop — then supplied as sequentially numbered panels, ready to hang in order. Paste system: standard overlap paste, seams pattern-matched. No trimming required.
We work with a trusted network of specialist paperhangers. At the order stage we can introduce a recommended installer in your area — or supply full installation notes for your own hanger.

What is a jali?
A jali is a traditional Indian architectural element, a pierced stone or wooden screen, often intricately carved, used for privacy, ventilation, and to filter light.
How does the 'paste-the-wall' application work?
With paste-the-wall wallpaper, you apply the adhesive directly to the wall rather than to the paper itself. This makes the installation process cleaner and often quicker.
Can I see a sample of the paper quality?
While we don't offer samples of specific designs due to their bespoke nature, we can provide generic paper samples to demonstrate the quality and finish of our matt non-woven material.
