What is pietra dura?
Pietra dura, or parchin kari, is an intricate inlay technique where precisely cut, polished stones are fitted together, forming images, often floral, against a contrasting ground, typically marble. It is famously seen in the Taj Mahal.
Can this mural be cleaned?
Yes, our matt non-woven wallpaper can be gently wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive scrubbing to preserve the integrity of the print.
