Within these elegant scrolls, discover gilded birds nesting amongst the leaves, ruby-red pomegranates hanging heavy, and delicate insects alighting upon broad, sage-green foliage. Deep shadows define the carved channels, whilst highlights catch the projecting leaf tips, lending a palpable sense of depth and artistry to this ordered, rich, and eternal scene.

What is the primary inspiration for the Classical Frieze design?
The Classical Frieze is inspired by the continuous horizontal bands of carved decoration found on ancient Greek and Roman temples, particularly the exquisite acanthus scrollwork on Rome's Ara Pacis, the Altar of Peace.
