A jewel-bright Eurasian blue tit — cobalt cap, lemon-yellow breast — perches on a mid-height branch and commands immediate attention through pure chromatic contrast. A Japanese white-eye is caught in mid-flight across the open central space, wings spread, lime-green breast the warmest note in the scene. Falling petals drift between branches; a painted-lady butterfly navigates among them. Deep in the white blossoms, almost invisible, a long-tailed tit betrays its position only by an absurdly long tail feather.
