The Composition

What the mural describes.

You stand within the remnants of a monastic chapel, deep within a deciduous wood. Before you, the enduring south wall rises, its twelve-foot height crowned by a Gothic pointed-arch window, its tracery broken yet elegant, framing a verdant forest beyond. To your right, the north wall has softened to waist height, its ancient rubble absorbed by centuries of leaf-fall. At the far end, the gentle curve of an apse, its dressed stone now a tapestry of green algae and thick moss, invites your gaze. A mature beech tree, its roots embracing the very foundations, thrusts upwards from the nave, its majestic trunk framing this timeless vista. Light, dappled and ethereal, descends from the canopy above and pours through the window, painting shifting patterns of illumination on the mossy walls, revealing the profound depth of this colonised space.

This mural, a testament to nature's enduring artistry, brings a contemplative, romantic melancholy to your living room, bedroom, study, or hallway. It is a scene of profound acceptance, where the slow work of time transforms history into forest, offering a deep calm to any space. Each mural is printed to your wall's precise dimensions on premium matt non-woven paste-the-wall paper, ensuring a seamless, bespoke installation and an exquisite finish.
